Reflection
Years ago, I was talking with a group of fellow believers and pointed out that Jesus may save our souls, but He doesn’t save us from being stupid.
Christ-followers still stumble; I certainly have. Yet following Christ means loving God and others, which only happens when I let the Holy Spirit lead.
His fruit (Galatians 5:22) isn’t meant to be kept but given away, showing others what a Christ-led life looks like.
This transformation isn’t instant: it requires daily prayer, scripture, community, boundaries, and sometimes recovery work like the 12 Steps.
It’s a daily walk, not a one-time fix.
I always write from experience.

Whose spirit drives you today: yours or Jesus’?
What fruit are you producing?
Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…”
Proverbs 4:10-12 “Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.” (NIV)
