I read Henry Cloud’s book The Power of the Other a couple of years ago.

In “The Power of the Other,” Cloud details how important it is to have strategic mentors (my term) in our lives. Strategic mentors help us become better at our various roles.

We all need strategic people in our lives.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

What are your professional roles and responsibilities?

What strategic partners do you tap into to help you improve in your roles?

Those who “do it alone” are usually in for a slow, bumpy ride.

2 Timothy 2:2, “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

Proverbs 27:27, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
