November Energy and Light

An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly.

Reflection

A few questions came to mind when I saw the opening quote:

  1. How bright is my light shining?
  2. Does my light shine continuously or intermittently?
  3. If it shines intermittently, what is the root cause?
  4. Is the magnitude of the shine of my light dependent upon what is going on around me?
  5. Is the magnitude of the shine of my light dependent upon allowing Jesus to live through me?

John 8:12, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
