Grit and Bear It – Day 9 -It’s Worth The Wait

Don’t trade the eternal great for the short-term good—what feels easy now may cost what matters most later.

— JMeyer —

Reflection:

Life constantly tempts us to settle for what’s quick, comfortable, or popular. But God calls us to live with eternity in mind.

Short-term gains can cloud long-term purpose.

True grit chooses the narrow road, trusting that what lasts forever is worth more than what satisfies for a moment.

Note to self. 🙂

Soul Search:

Where in your life am I choosing comfort over calling, or convenience over conviction? What short-term “good” might you need to surrender to pursue God’s eternal best?

Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.– 2 Corinthians 4:17
