We continue looking at the Financial component of our Wheel of Life.
Psalm 24:1, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. Â The world and all its people belong to him.” Â (NLT)
I remember the first time I read the scripture above. Â My wife and I were in a Bible study and I was early into my new walk with Jesus. Â The leader of the Bible study said, “God owns everything, we own nothing.” Â To some, this was probably an obvious statement, but for me it was life changing. Â Up to that point in my life I always viewed my money and possessions as mine.
In that moment I began to handle and view money and possessions much differently.
Today I know everything is on loan to me; I own nothing.
Do you treat your money and possessions as if they are on loan to you from God or do you treat them as if they are yours?
