Reflection
Few things are more powerful than giving our time, skills, and resources to others. A mantra I heard repeatedly in AA meetings captures it well: “You can’t keep what you have unless you give it away.” My wife and I tried to live by that principle, and we’ve never regretted it.
In a world focused on accumulation, generosity is a different way of living. It’s an act of faith and a reflection of what truly matters.
Generosity is more than money. It’s encouragement, attention, opportunity, and presence.
It’s the mentor opening a door, the friend who listens, or the neighbor who shows up.
Truly generous people rarely end up with less…they actually end up with more.
Anyone can make a living. Be one who makes a life by lifting others.

- Am I generous by habit or only by occasion?
- What would change in my life if I became significantly more intentionally generous?
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)
