Reflection
This quote reminded me of four years ago on this day when my friend Bob heard three words none of us ever want to hear, “You have cancer.”
He came very close to death, and without the quick thinking of his medical team, he wouldn’t be with us today.
Since that day, Bob and I have communicated with each other often, and from my viewpoint, his attitude has sustained him.
He often concludes his messages with, “I choose not to be sick today.” This is his way of protecting his mind from a bad attitude and giving him the energy to fight one more day.
Please continue to pray for Bob to remain cancer-free one day at a time.
A positive attitude is paramount in overcoming any challenge in life.
Proverbs 3:5- 6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.”
The attitude you face your problems with will determine whether or not your life progresses or digresses…I always write from experience.
