Reflection
Over the course of the last nine months, I’ve spent more time with myself than I have in a long time. During this season of pause, I’ve been reminded of people, places, things, and thoughts that serve as accelerants to my fruit as well as those which serve as weeds and stunt the growth of my fruit.
Inventory
If you are looking for ways to grow during this time of pause take your journal and create two columns. One titled “Fruit Growers” and the other titled “Weed Growers.”
List in each column, the people, places, things, and thoughts that accelerates your fruit or weeds.
Begin work immediately in eliminating your weed growers…the fruit will automatically grow.
Knowing yourself is a big step in making the most of yourself.
Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law.”
The only person you should try to be better than is who you were yesterday.
