Random Thoughts:
- I love our country.
- Some of the major news of this past week has made me love my country even more. Between the Supreme Court nominee hearing and Nike’s decision to use Colin Kaepernick as the face of their latest marketing campaign–the U.S. has created news for the world to debate.
- I love our country because we all have the right to protest and voice our opinions. Nobody tells us how we should think.
These thoughts get me back to the opening quote. Personally, I’m much too busy to get sucked into debating the current hot topics in the news…as much as my flesh would like me to do so.
The devil is the great distractor.
Ironman update:
- I’m still healthy…if you pray about such crazy things, please continue to pray for me. I ran 3 hours yesterday…on a treadmill…because of the rain…watching reruns of The Office…running that far while laughing is not a good combination.
- I am ready for this to be over. Right now I work, train, eat, and sleep. I’m very grateful for the support of my wife…she’s ready for this to be over too.
- Three weeks from today the Maryland Ironman Triathlon will be in the history books and I will be onto something new to keep my mind occupied.

Be wise and conscious of your time and what you waste it on…you only live this life once.
