Daily focalPOINT – Whose World?

“My life changed dramatically the day I chose to live in God’s world instead of living in my world.”  ~JJM

Living in God’s world certainly opens our eyes and minds to everything around us.  It gives us more appreciation of beauty and blessings and more compassion and caring for those who don’t have it so well.

Living in our world does just the opposite.  It puts blinders on us and causes us to become fixated on ourselves and our own little worlds.

Whose world are you living in today?

A quick test to find out where you are:

How often do you worry?

How often are you anxious?

How often are you angry?

How often do you compare yourself to others?

How often are you jealous of others?

How often do you boast?

So often we get immersed in our own little worlds and we only call on God when we are in dire need and desperation of a higher power.  Why not be immersed in His abundant world and trust he will protect us from being in dire need and desperation?  Make sense?

If not, keep coming back.

I must unapologetically note that this post was certainly a random rambling.
