Who I Am

“I have found that the process of discovering who I really am begins with knowing who I really don’t want to be.”  ~Alcoholics Anonymous

Have you taken an inventory of yourself lately?  A fearless and thorough moral inventory is the best way I know of finding out who I am and what traits I like about myself and what traits I do not like.  After doing the inventory it is important to share it with God and another human being…if you really want to quit being that person you don’t want to be.

Who are you today?

Are you OK with it?

Who do you want to be?

Who am I today? I am a shell of the person I used to be. I used to be full of life, laughter, dreams, and love. Today I struggle to just do the life thing. I smile on the outside while I feel like I am dying on the inside a little each day.
Are You Ok with it? NO! I despise the way I feel and that I have lost my way for so long.
Who do I want to be? A devoted child of God that makes a difference each and everyday. To teach about impaired and distracted driving to our youth to make a difference and hopefully safe a life… To achieve my masters degree in nursing education to care for those who need care and with those skills guided by God. To learn how to devote my life to God and know that I am on the right path in my life. I want no more dark days of sadness, fear, or self doubting.. God bless..
