Which Day?

One day or day one.
You decide.

Reflection

Last evening Jordy and I went hunting for eagles.

How many eagle nests are within thirty miles of our house amazes me.

I love the majestic nature of the Bald Eagle. I also love everything it represents.

Many years ago, I saw this quote, “You can live your life being negative and quacking like a duck, or you can live your life being positive and soaring high like an eagle.”

Spoiler alert…I chose the latter.

A different kind of eagle…

We struck out in our attempt to locate an eagle last night, but we did see something that rivaled an eagle observation.

While passing through a small village south of Covington, I noticed a line of people extending at least a hundred yards down the street from a funeral home.

I had read the obituary of the lady that the crowd of people had gathered to pay their last respects.

She lived her life like an eagle.

Fact

We are all going to die.

I know it sucks, but it’s the truth.

Question

How many of you spend the majority of your time quacking?

How many of you spend the majority of your time soaring?

BTW

“Someday I’ll” is a one-way ticket quacking you to nowhere. 🙂

If you’ve been putting off doing something–make this Day One of putting on.

Luke 11:9, “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
