Walk

There are those who talk a good game and there are those who walk a good game. Follow the walkers, at least they are going somewhere.

This thought came to me as I was reading Proverbs 17:19 “anyone who speaks boastfully invites disaster.”

Talk is so cheap.

Walk is so very valuable.

How much time do you spend talking?

How much time do you spend walking?

An even better question is how much time do you spend planning your walk?  To walk aimlessly is just as much of a waste of time as blabbering foolishly.

I used to be a big talker until I woke up one day flat on my back in a totally worthless state in a chemical dependency center…yep…speaking boastfully invites disaster.

Proverbs 17:27, “A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even tempered.”
