Purpose & Pain

Sometimes our life purpose is found in our most painful life moments.

StratField Personal Playing Field (blue letters)Today is the start of the third week in our journey of building a playing field for our life.

By the end of this process you will have nailed down your guiding principles, gifts/strengths, priorities and passions.  Through this process you will gain clarity around your life purpose as well as create a dream with a plan (vision/mission).

The other day I received a text from my daughter informing me that her next door neighbor had taken his life.  She was noticeably upset and when my daughter is upset I get upset.  Suicide has become way too prevalent in our society.  It saddens me.

What also saddens my heart is the heroin epidemic that has taken over our country.

Over the past twelve months there were three families that I know of, from my small village of 2500 people who had lost loved ones to heroin overdoses.

Through my own personal experiences, my heart aches for people who die because they saw no use in living and/or felt as though death was the only way to escape the pain they were in.

I feel very lucky to have escaped death and today I’m committed to helping others see, find, and live in the light.

It’s why I do what I do.  It’s my purpose.  Sometimes we find our purpose in our deepest moments of pain.

The Good Lord created each and every one of us with our own unique DNA to do our own unique thing.

My goal is to help you find the true you so you can leverage your “unique thing” and make the world a better place.

StratField Personal Playing Field-3 Gifts and StrengthsOver the next couple of days we will be transitioning into taking a look at our strengths and gifts.

In the meantime I challenge you to find one or two friends who may benefit from this process and send them the link to my website (www.eaglelaunch.com).

There are lots of people in pain these days who see no way out.  The devil is on the loose.

The best way to fend off the devil is by building and living a life of purpose one day at a time…I write from experience.
