Un-becoming?

Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.

I believe it’s safe to say, as Christians, we are all meant to be disciples of Christ.  So the quick solution to gauging where I am with the opening quote is to ask myself, “Is what I’ve become or what I’m becoming for Christ’s glory or for my own glory?  Is what I’m doing, pleasing God or just pleasing me and/or others?  Is what I’m doing becoming or unbecoming to God?”

Good stuff to ponder…
