Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about unbecoming everything that isn't really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.

— Paulo Coelho —

Now that is an excellent quote.

I believe it’s safe to say that, as Christians, we are all meant to become disciples of Christ. So the quick analysis to gauging where I am with the opening quote is to ask myself, “Is what I’ve become or what I’m becoming for Christ’s glory or my own glory?

Is what I’m doing pleasing God or just pleasing me and/or others?

Is what I’m doing becoming or unbecoming to God?”

Good stuff to ponder…

Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,”
