Truth Is Harmless

If anyone can prove and show me that I think and act in error, I will gladly change it--for I seek the truth, by which no one has ever been harmed. The one who is harmed is the one who abides in deceit and ignorance.

— Marcus Aurelius —

Reflection

I love this thought from Aurelius. I am always open for debate and discussion as I have only one truth I hang onto as an absolute–Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Our world is being inundated with false information. Everyone who has a social media account can create their own news feed, which, in my opinion, is dangerous, and the devil loves danger.

We have to be very careful with the information we consume and how we digest and use it.

I am currently reading “Think Again, The Power of Knowing What You Don’t Know” by Adam Grant. It is an excellent read about learning how to debate hot topics with others in a healthy manner.

What truth(s) guide you?

John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
