Inside Happiness

Happiness isn't something that depends on our surroundings...It's something we make inside ourselves.

Reflection

If you are one to seek happiness from the world, I guarantee at some point, you will be disappointed. Our society is a society that is very much of surface instead of substance these days.  Instead of getting in touch with our core and who we are, we tend to have more desire to get in touch with the world and let it tell us who we are through our jobs, money, clothing, cars, etc… This, in turn, causes us to search for our happiness in all the wrong places.

Happiness is an inside job.

Most mornings, God puts me in touch with the happiest people in the world–our son Jordan’s bus mates. People with special needs are the greatest teachers of TRUE happiness. Their happiness comes from within; for the most part, they do not let the world’s workings deplete them of their joy.

What determines your happiness?
