Quote Reflection

In the last couple of years, I’ve attempted to revive my golf swing, and in the process, I’ve dug up way too much soil and found what I’m made of more times than I would ever wish. (Reread the opening quote.)

Golf has got to be the most irritating sport.

One moment, you hit a perfect shot, and a few minutes later, you hit what you feel is the most imperfect shot ever executed by humankind.

Facts

The journey of life is a lot like golf.

There are good moments, and there are bad moments, and it’s in the bad moments where we find what we are made of.

It’s essential never to let the bad moments turn into a bad hour, day, week, month, year–or an entire round of golf. :_

AND…if we ask God to join us while trudging through our storms and challenging rounds with life and golf, we will get to know Him better, too.

Nahum 1:7, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.”
