Train

To be the best, you need to spend hours and hours and hours running, hitting the speed bag, lifting weights and focusing on training.

— Sugar Ray Leonard —

Becoming really good at anything takes training and practice, and training and practice requires focus, and focus requires us to place our sight on what really matters.

Have you ever taken the time to inventory the activities of a routine week for yourself?  Give it a try, you might be surprised at how many things you do that really don’t matter.

Commit yourself to train regularly for the plan God has for your life.  And if you don’t know what God’s plan is for you, the training begins with prayer.

1 Corinthians 9:25, “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”  (NIV)
