The BEST Connection

When we are powerless and unable to do anything, it is great joy that we can come and step inside the ability of Jesus.

— Corrie Ten Boom —

I remember talking with my college basketball coach a few years ago after hearing of the sudden passing of his wife.

We talked about a lot of things.  Coach was well connected in the college basketball community.  He began his college coaching career as an assistant for Bobby Knight.  Coach shared with me that Hall of fame coaches like Mike Krzyzewski and Rollie Massimino had called him after hearing about the loss of his wife.

Coach said something to me that went well beyond  thinking he was connected to some pretty famous basketball people.  He said, “Jay, Bev and I are Christians so I know she is OK and I will be OK.  I can’t imagine how people who don’t believe in Christ deal with tragedies like this.”

So true.

There is no “connection” more important in life than your connection with Christ.
