Step Inside Jesus’ Ability

When we are powerless and unable to do anything, it is great joy that we can come and step inside the ability of Jesus.

Reflection

I remember talking with my college basketball coach a few years ago after hearing of the sudden passing of his wife.

We talked about a lot of things. Coach was well-connected in the college basketball community. He began his college coaching career as an assistant for Bobby Knight. He shared with me that Hall of Fame coaches like Mike Krzyzewski and Rollie Massimino had called him after hearing about the loss of his wife.

Coach said something that went well beyond thinking he was connected to some famous basketball people. He said, “Jay, Bev, and I are Christians, so I know she is OK, and I will be OK. I can’t imagine how people who don’t believe in Christ deal with tragedies like this.”

So true.

Fact

No “connection” is more important in life than your connection with Christ.
