I find myself thanking God early and often each day. It is a habit I developed years ago and it forces me to get out of myself and see the beauty God has created. I have found the darkness in my world is self-inflicted. There is always light ready to “dim” the darkness but it is almost impossible for me to turn on the light (God) if I am unable to be thankful.
1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
