Reflection
We tend to look for the dramatic turning point — the breakthrough, the life-changing event, the moment everything shifts. But most lives are shaped not by their dramatic moments but by their ordinary ones.
What you do every day accumulates…
- Morning devotion.
- Ten minutes of reading.
- Daily exercise.
- Gratitude list.
- A phone call to someone who needs to hear from you.
The same is true in the other direction…
- Daily complaints.
- Hours of mindless scrolling.
- Postponed conversations.
- Resentments held tightly.
- Comparing ourselves to others.
These also accumulate.
You don’t have to overhaul your life today. But you might ask: what one daily habit could I strengthen, and what one could I release?
Soul Search
- What does my daily routine say about my priorities?
- What small daily action would have the greatest compounding effect over the next year?
Scripture: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23 (NIV)
