Strength In Not Taking Yourself Too Seriously

Life is too important to be taken seriously.

— Oscar Wilde —

Reflection

Our family loves to laugh and poke fun at one another. Our special guy, Jordan, is our ultimate perspective keeper and helps us to never take ourselves too seriously.

Fun Facts

Laughter is one of life’s most underrated forms of strength. It eases stress, humbles our ego, and reminds us we’re human… not perfect.

When we take ourselves too seriously, we become rigid and guarded.

When we learn to laugh, especially at ourselves, we create space for growth, connection, and joy.

A light heart carries heavy burdens better.

I’ve decided to dedicate the rest of April to living a little lighter—and laughing a lot more…life is too important to take seriously.

Where in your life have you become too serious—and what would it look like to invite laughter back in?

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” — Proverbs 17:22
