Steady Ground

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

— Serenity Prayer —

In every life, there are storms. Some are easier to weather, like a spring squall that pops up unexpectedly when we aren’t at all prepared. We may get a little wet, but it’s manageable.  Some are harder though, like a big, thunderous, shake-the-ground kind of storm that can quickly make us feel disoriented, anxious and discontent.

On my newest episode of the Higher Leading podcast, I’m sharing my formula for staying steady, and even finding peace, in all of life’s storms. The basics are this: 1) Start with a rock-solid foundation in Him, 2) Prepare yourself by knowing and living your priorities and values, and 3) Stay conscious of your P.A.C.E.
