What a beautiful piece of writing by Augustine.
There was a time in my life where I withdrew from God. My withdrawal occurred during my “long weekend” from 1982 – 1987 when alcohol and drugs became my God and turned into my living hell.
Since August 9, 1987 I’ve stayed as close as I can to my creator and power source…it’s worked so far and I think I’m going to continue.
A consistent faith walk leads to a consistent life walk.
