“Do you wish people to think well of you? Don’t speak well of yourself.” ~Pascal
Notice Pascal doesn’t say, “don’t think well of yourself.” He also doesn’t say we should speak badly about ourselves.
He is talking about not telling others how great we are. People don’t want to hear it, they want to see it.
