I’m still mourning the loss of my dad. Grief is a strange process as we all go through it differently. There is not a “one size fits all” for the grieving process.
If we aren’t careful the devil will use grief to harden and/or darken our souls–I’ve experienced this on more than one occasion over the past five months.
I counter this cloud over my soul with all the great memories I have of my dad. Memories I am grateful for.
He was one hell of a dad and a man.
Gratitude is definitely the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.
Is the devil trying to harden your soul? Find something to be grateful for.

Psalm 100:1-5, “A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
