Reflection
Five decades back, this time of year meant one thing to me: basketball. I loved the game, loved playing, and loved practicing even more, AND I never saw a shot I didn’t like. 😊
I spent countless hours working on my form, paying attention to all the details that make a good shot. But when the game started, all that complexity disappeared. My focus narrowed to one simple thing: the hole in the hoop. Aim. That was it.
All the preparation mattered, but in the moment, simplicity produced clarity.
Years later, I saw the same principle at work when I led HealthCare Pharmacy. We took hundreds of complex steps and distilled them into a clear and understandable outcome: Deliver the Right Drug to the Right Patient at the Right Time for the Right Reason at the Right Price, all wrapped in the Right Attitude. Our motto was simple: We do the right things, right. That clarity aligned people, decisions, and energy.
Life works the same way. We often clutter our days with too many goals, commitments, and distractions. Then we wonder why we feel scattered and unfocused.
Clarity rarely comes from adding more; it comes from removing what doesn’t matter. When we simplify, our aim becomes more precise. And when we aim at what matters most, we become the best versions of ourselves.

What is cluttering my life right now?
What one or two things deserve my clearest focus?
