The Problem

Sad is a life spent running away from problems not realizing the problem is you.

Quote Reflection

I figured this out many years ago while sitting alone one evening in a chemical dependency center.  I was at the end of my “run,” and the end was rock bottom.

At that moment, I made a vow to no longer blame my problems on other people, places, and things but to begin taking responsibility for my life.

Although I can get into the rat race just as easily as anyone, I always try my best to know what I am running to (my goals) and who I am running for (God).

Do you find yourself running from things these days?  Take time to reflect and inventory whether you seem to be running from your problems.  If you are, the “problem” is most likely found in you…I write from experience.

If I’m not the problem, there is no solution.

Philippians 3:13-14, “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do:  Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
