Respect Yourself = Discipline

Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that's real power.

— Clint Eastwood —

I often think most people take better care of their pets and/or their cars than they take care of themselves.

Show me a person who is well groomed, vibrant, fun to be around, prompt, courteous, respectful, unassuming, quiet but powerful…you get what I’m saying…and I will show you a person who respects himself and has self-discipline.

The character traits above are all worth shooting for and it all begins with your expectations of how you should treat yourself.

Hebrews 12:11, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.  Later on, however it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
