Not everyone thinks the way you think, knows the things you know, believes the things you believe, nor acts the way you would act. Remember this and you will go a long way in getting along with people. `Arthur Forman
Being fit from a spiritual, mental and physical standpoint is a real key in passionately living out our life purpose and fulfilling our dreams.
Another advantage of being fit from a spiritual, mental and physical standpoint is we are much better able to work effectively with the people around us.
Tomorrow we will begin looking at the fourth component of our Wheel of Life–Relational.
Two things I know:
- Nothing great happens in life by doing it alone.
- It is impossible to have peace in our life if we can’t get along with others.
When Jesus was challenged on which commandment was the greatest, He replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:36-39)
Nothing drives me crazier than a Jesus loving person who is always at battle with his or her neighbor.
More on our relational component tomorrow.
