reFOCUS – Day 27 – Busyness Isn’t Fruitfulness

Beware the barrenness of a busy life.

— Socrates —

Simplify to amplify…

Reflection:

Busyness can masquerade as productivity, but it often leaves us spiritually empty and emotionally drained…been there done that and still doing it but not as bad. 🙂

When our days are filled with activity yet lack intention, we risk missing what truly matters—relationships, purpose, reflection, and growth.

A packed schedule may impress others, but it doesn’t guarantee progress or peace.

Socrates warns us to slow down and examine the why behind our hustle. True fulfillment comes not from doing more, but from doing what matters most.

Soul Search:

Are your activities aligned with your purpose, priorities, and responsibilities? Are they intentional and focused or are they just filling space?

Luke 10:41–42 (NIV) – “Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed…”
