From now until the end of the month, we will focus on the fifth letter (S) in the FOCUS acrostic: Simplify to amplify.
Reflection:
One phrase I heard often in 12-Step meetings was, “KISS—Keep It Simple, Stupid.” It was a blunt but effective reminder. Recovery is a simple program for complicated people, and the last thing we needed was to overthink or overcomplicate what was meant to set us free. Simplicity was our lifeline—clarity over chaos, one day at a time.
Facts:
Complexity can cloud your calling. When you strip away what’s non-essential, what matters most shines through.
Soul Search:
What do you need to simplify in your life to hear God more clearly?
Psalm 37:7 (NIV) – “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”
