Reflection:
In a world that equates progress with accumulation—more goals, more commitments, more noise—God often grows us by encouraging us to remove people, places, and things that hinder us from fully living out our purpose.
In John 15:2, Jesus says that every branch that bears fruit is pruned so that it will bear even more fruit. Pruning isn’t punishment; it’s preparation. It’s the discipline of divine gardening.
Soul Search:
What is God inviting you to cut back so you can grow stronger?
John 15:2 (NIV) – “Every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”
