Today, we continue looking at the O in our FOCUS acrostic.
Reflection:
I love the opening quote. “The greatest battle of our generation is for attention.” This refers not only to what we give our attention to, but also to what we let it take from us.
In a world of constant pings, swipes, and scrolling, our focus is fractured. We chase likes while losing sight of what truly matters.
Attention is the currency of purpose; whatever captures it shapes us.
The enemy knows this—and so does God. That’s why Scripture calls us to “fix our eyes” on things above. If we want to live meaningfully, we must guard our attention fiercely. Win this battle, and you reclaim your peace, your purpose, and your power…I always write from experience.

What has your attention these days? In what ways are you trying to draw attention to yourself instead of Him and the gifts He’s bestowed on you?
Colossians 3:2, “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
