Recovery Month – Day 10 – Fellowship

Nothing great in life happens by going it alone.

— JMeyer —

Reflection:

In the early years of my recovery, I went to thousands of AA meetings. I knew my thinking had to change, and surrounding myself with people who were winning in recovery helped me build a solid foundation for the future.

That same truth applies to every area of my life. If I want to do something well, I need to learn from those who’ve gone before me. Today, much of my “fellowship” comes through books, podcasts, and other resources that pour wisdom into the areas where I’m trying to grow.

We also grow by sharing our knowledge with others.

Fellowship is a two-way street.

BUT…

Isolation is dangerous—it’s relapse territory.

Fellowship, in whatever form it takes, keeps us grounded, accountable, and encouraged.

Soul Search:

Who can you lean on—or encourage—today?
