Purpose Stretch

Don't live the same year 75 times and call it a life.

Reflection

Before I work out, I stretch the muscles I’ll be using. I do it to safely put my body into controlled discomfort—because that’s where growth happens. And as I age, I’m well aware that muscles atrophy faster, so pushing my limits isn’t optional; it’s essential. If I’m not growing, I’m slipping backward.

The same is true with purpose.

Living your purpose will stretch you beyond comfort, predictability, and familiarity. God does His best work in the stretch. Every time you step into something uncomfortable, He expands your capacity to serve, love, and lead in ways you never imagined.

Soul Search

Where is God stretching you right now?

How might the stretching be preparation rather than pressure?

“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete.” — James 1:4 (NIV)
