When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.

— Napoleon Hill —

I’m sure you’ve all heard that the true representation of a person’s character is shown in the way he or she handles defeat.

Defeat and not getting what we want is a great time to reflect and pray about what happened and whether or not the outcome would have been different if things were done differently and then do as Napoleon Hill notes in his quote above.

Defeat, loss, and setbacks are all part of life.  How we handle them will truly determine what kind of person we become.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of god may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
