Prayers Please

Prayer should always be our first response to every situation.

Thoughts From My Spirit

Wow!

I sure know a lot of people who are facing major challenges in their lives.

In the last seven days, I added three more names to my already lengthy morning prayer list.

I don’t know what is going on, but I feel a cloud has been hovering over our neck of the world for the past couple of years.

Facts

I’m not complaining.

Life happens.

We can struggle and fight with the negative happenings in our lives or pray for them.

It’s that easy.

When we struggle and try to fight with them, they wear us down.

When we pray without ceasing, we wear them down.

Request

If my friends in EagleLaunch land could take a moment a couple of times a week to pray for the people on my prayer list, I would appreciate it.

You might be wondering how you can pray for the people on my prayer list if you don’t have their names.

God knows their names.

He knows the page in my journal where they are located.

He knows their needs.

He knows how many hairs are on their heads.

All you have to do is say, “God, I pray for all the people on Jay’s prayer list.”

It seems corny, doesn’t it?

God does some amazing work with and through “corny.”

More Facts

God is omnipotent.

God is omnipresent.

God is omniscient.

God is omnibenevolent.

That is why He’s called God and why we should have Him take on our struggles for us.

1 Chronicles 29:11, “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.”
