“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.â€Â ~Oswald Chambers
Prayer has been a major part of my life since my sobriety date of August 9, 1987.  Anything I’ve accomplished since that day has nothing to do with me, but a  whole lot to do with God working through me, and God does His best work through me when I surrender to Him first thing in the morning and ask for His will and not mine to be done.
During the month of December I will be focusing on two prayers that have and continue to be instrumental in my prayer life today.
The two prayers we will be taking a look at during the month of December are:  The Prayer of St. Francis Assisi and The Serenity Prayer (long version).
Prayer is so powerful BUT…If you wait until you are in trouble to pray, you are in trouble.
