Journeys

Life is a journey; not a destination

— Ralph Waldo Emerson —

Reflection

Every ten years or so I find my life journey shifting towards a new destination.

I’m old enough to know that the destination is what allows us to have the journey.

I don’t know if I’ve ever truly reached a destination.

But I’ve sure had some interesting journeys.

The good journeys were when I was focused on good and healthy destinations.

The not-so-good journeys had an opposite focus to the above.

Our life is an accumulation of several journeys.

No journey is a waste of time if we use it to make our next journey better.

If you haven’t figured it out, I’m about to embark on a new journey but I’m still trying to figure out my destination.

Question

Where are you on your journey?

Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. -Og Mandino

1 Corinthians 3:8, “The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.”
