Perseverance and Purpose

A difficult time can be more readily endured if we retain the conviction that our existence holds a purpose – a cause to pursue, a person to love, a goal to achieve.

— John Maxwell —

Maxwell’s quote is so true.

Having a purpose is so powerful and creates a lot of energy.

Living without purpose is depressing and tiring…I write from experience.

Having and living a purpose in times like these is a great boost to the body, mind, and soul.

We all have a purpose.

What are your strengths, gifts, and talents?

What makes your heart smile?

Where does a need in the world intersect with something you do that gives you deep gladness?

Somewhere in the middle of the above three questions lies your purpose.

1 Corinthians 9:26, “So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step.”
