“Patience and Diligence, like faith, remove mountains.” ~William Penn
As we close out this week on patience I will leave you with one final thought:
I have found those who are most patient are those who know what their God-purpose is. They’ve taken the time to create a vision and mission for their life and every day when they get up they know what direction they are heading and the path they are traveling on.
When people have a vision (what they aspire to “be”) and a mission (what they need to “do” in order to “be”) they have strategic focus. This focus often parlays into an ability to have patience as they travel their path since they know their unique path has never been traveled before. A road never traveled will always present challenges to one’s patience and those who understand and accept this fact will endure and remove the “mountains” as they go. Those who don’t understand this usually complain their way through life or simply let others carry them through life.
If you’ve taken the time to create a strategic focus for your life, and you know where you are heading, living life strategically becomes as easy as simply doing the next right thing with patience and diligence.
