October Change and Quality

You and I possess within ourselves at every moment of our lives, under all circumstances, the power to transform the quality of our lives.

— Werner Erhard —

Reflection

Upon second glance at the opening quote, the word “quality” struck me.

We all have different perspectives about quality.

When we were doing our thing at HealthCare Pharmacy, our goal was to exceed our customers’ expectations. This goal required us to produce our work at the highest level of quality possible. As we reached that level, we pushed it even higher.

Random Thoughts

Today I find myself critiquing the level of quality of the various businesses I frequent.

IMO-there is none better than Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A has the “special sauce” when it comes to quality service.

While many restaurants floundered during the COVID-19 pandemic, I watched Chick-Fil-A flourish by transforming their drive-through ordering process.

They took it to another level.

I observed them focusing on keeping things as sanitary as possible while at the same time moving the cars through the drive-through line as swiftly as possible.

They never missed a beat because of their focus on quality service, which I’m guessing is founded on the golden rule…

Whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (Mark 7:12)

Facts

I’m going to cut to the chase to close out this somewhat rambling writing.

Raising the quality of our life is dependent upon the quality of our thoughts.

If you think you cannot grow and transform your old self into a new and higher quality of yourself…you are right.

If you think you can always grow and transform your old self into a new and higher quality of yourself…you are right.

I always write from experience.

Philippians 1:6, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
