Reflection
This quote reminds me of a friend of mine. He made a poor decision in High School that has haunted him for over four decades. Every time we talk, he brings up this regretful moment in his life.
It’s important to note that my buddy’s life paralyzing decision pales when compared to some of the stupid choices I’ve made in my life, but to him, it’s not–it’s enormous.
Why do some people get stuck and others don’t?
I can only speak for myself as I’ve very seldom gotten stuck and remained stuck…probably because I’m always fighting for what could be…reread the opening quote.
Questions
Each morning when your clock resets, where are your thoughts?
Are they on your wins?
Are they on your failures?
Are they on what could be?
Choose the latter, and you won’t regret it.
2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
