Reflection
This quote reminded me of a nugget of wisdom I picked up many years ago in an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Someone shared their story, saying, “I used to run away from my problems by making geographical moves. Then, one day, I realized I continued to have the same issues with each move. It was on that day that I realized the problem was me.”
Fact
If I’m not the problem, there is no solution.
Question
What part(s) of your life is God calling you to face and change?
Have you asked God for the courage to make the change?
There is no better prayer than the Serenity Prayer when it comes to making positive changes in your life:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
