Proverbs 11:25, “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” (NLT)
I’m always thankful for my daily Proverb and this one jumped out at me this morning.Â
If you are feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and everyone is against you and/or not paying enough attention to you etc…, try what Solomon suggests above. Get out of yourself and go “refresh” another person.
The longer I live the more I realize; the less my focus is on me, the more joy and peace I have in my life.
Reach out and help someone today.

Why I have never looked at your website until now……….I have no idea. I am taking you up on an invite you gave months ago at Sunday worship service. I was asked just this morning to be a servant at the Welcome Center this Sat. night, so I look forward to attending your service. I have never been to Saturday services.
Let see what was your quote, “If your messed up will help you out, and if your not messed up, well we may mess you up”. LOL
I do miss your encouraging talks as a “Boss”/”Coach”. My life has no addictions, but short of being perfect. I have gained alot of healing and strength by coming to Ginghamsburg and all Thanks to you, Sandy and Dustina. By getting my to the right place, at the right time (sounds familiar… huh) but the true Thanks and glory is to God by far.
I have a new peace is the one word that seems fitting, in my life now. Yes, life gets crazy being a single mom, work, kids and thier activities that have me on the go. But, all in all I feel like I gave my “baggage” that weighted me down to God and I and heading down the right path, and pray daily that he keeps me on the right path. I give myself more time to read, pray, just to clear my head on the negative “junk” that can just clutter your mind and rearrange your focus. Scars do heal, in my life of overcoming personal/family triumphs, troubles and disfunction. I know God has a plan for me, you know there are times when I can just feel his presence. I can’t even explain it, but he is there, I know he is. It’s a sense of stillness, joy, peace all rolled into one. Even when start with the lonliness, self-worth, self-pity, it just doesn’t seem to last but moments. It is then that I am reminded of all the blessings in my life. And it’s not all about me! So, I get over it real quick!!
I only was going to say Hello, and see what happened? I know people may tell you all the time what you have done for them. Now it is my turn to say from me to you, what you have done for me so Thank you.
