More Action

We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action.

Many years ago a wise basketball-playing-mentor told me if I wanted to dunk a basketball I needed to start jumping and jumping and jumping.

What are you wanting to do but aren’t feeling “inspired” to do?

Write it down and start doing it.

You cannot think or dream your way into a new thing.  You must take action.

BTW…I ended up being able to dunk a basketball even though I had what my African-American buddies referred to as “white man’s disease.”  🙂
